"This food tour was a filling and pleasant experience..."
10-18-13: "This food tour was a filling and pleasant experience; it was ideal for our group, bachelorette party of 12. We enjoyed food from a diversity of cuisines and learned about local architecture in between stops, so it was a double bonus of food and history. At each stop, it was interesting to learn what made each dish unique or a relic of a particular culture such as the Cuban sandwich. There was plenty to eat as well -- several in my group mentioned we should have skipped breakfast to leave more room for food from the tour! Overall, the tour was a great experience. I highly recommend it and all thanks to our kind, considerate, and well-organized tour guide."
"...I got to learn things about south beach that I had never known..."
10-7-13: "These restaurants were ones I had never seen before, and the food was something I wouldn't try on my own but now would try again - delicious. The second place was the best, with unique Haitian food and the best mojitos I've ever had. I was pretty full by the third place and the fourth place was a huge amount of food. I didn't even need dinner that night I was so stuffed by the end. The tour guide commentary was also a pleasant surprise as I got to learn things about south beach that I had never known before even though I've lived here for five years."
"Worth every penny"
9-26-13: "Food Tours of Miami really know their stuff. I live in Miami and before this tour, I have to admit that my impression of South Beach restaurants was that they were all Tourist Traps. I owe it to Food Tours of Miami for shedding a whole new light on my thoughts of South Beach Cuisine! We went to incredible restaurants with amazing character and authentic cuisine from around the world. I was originally worried that the hurricane-like storm conditions would put a damper on the tour, but this incredible experience completely took my mind off the awful weather. In fact, it was the best rainy day ever! The two people that opted not to show up for the tour totally missed out, but the rest of us weren't complaining because it only meant more delicious food for us! We enjoyed everything from Haitian, Cuban, French, and authentic Italian Gelato to top it all off. I can't wait to go back to these restaurants and even do the tour again, as our tour guide mentioned the restaurants are not always the same. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of South Beach and had just the amount of passion to make this an unforgettable experience. Try out their pub crawls as well!"
"I've been to Sobe quite a few times..."
8-10-13" "I've been to Sobe quite a few times, but this Food Tour made it quite an experience this time. We had a nice mix of people, the restaurants we visited were great and Stephen shared a bit of South Beach history with us. For anyone visiting Sobe- this should be on your To Do List!"

"Steve was excellent..."
7-13-13: "Steve was excellent. Not only did he take us to places we would not normally have stopped at, but he taught us so much about South Beach/Miami history along the way. You will not regret this tour."
7-13-13: "Very fun and learned a lot! Steve, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable and accommodating! Had a great time!"
6-23-13: "Excellent tour! This is the second tour I have taken with this company. One was a pub crawl in Coral Gables and the other was a food tour in Miami Beach. Both were a blast. The places on the tour are delicious and the information that Steve, our awesome guide, gave us was outstanding. History and trivia and interesting information - and some games on the pub crawl! Whether with a date, or couples, or friends or alone, these tours are a for sure good time."

“Delicious Miami Beach”
9-25-12: "We discovered the tour while browsing tripadvisor, and since there were a lot of good reviews we decided to give it a go. It was the first tour of its kind for us, and truth be told we don't have anything to compare it to. All we can say is that if this is what food tours are supposed to be, then we'll be looking for one in each future place we'll get to visit. Steve, the owner, met us on a rainy day and started right away sharing his knowledge of Miami Beach. We we're surprised by the commitment that he put in every place we went, making sure that not only our stomach was enjoying it but also our brain. The tours that take place in the area, by bus or boat, provide a good insight of the area of Miami, but not of it's restaurants, cafes, and such. This tour took care of that, and we feel that we leave this place with a better knowledge than we normally have while leaving other holiday destinations. The portions are more than enough, the food is great, and all can be said and done in 2/2:30 hours. The best "lunch" that we had in our vacation."
8-15-12: "My boyfriend and I purchased tickets on Living Social and almost forgot about the expiration date. Anyhow, We were able to come along on very short notice. We met the owner at the scheduled location with another couple. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the area and the venues that we were scheduled to try. We stopped at 4 different restaurants, one was a gelato shop, which was lovely. I had a great time and recommend the tour to locals and tourist. Enjoy...."
7-15-12: "Wonderful! will definitely do it again, soon."

The tour was Perfect, went to Restaurants we have NEVER visited had it not been for this Food Tour. He was talking to us & our kid, even waiting for us & our Baby. We had a Very Fun time & will return with Friends & Family. Guide is the best & left full! Loved it & will return to Restaurants on next trip! Thanks Stephen"
“I will come back again!!!!!”

“First time in Miami...”
5-31-12: "In the midst of planning a first time trip to Miami, I happened upon the Living Social ad for the Miami Food Tours. I figured, "Why not?!"! And it was well worth it. I went with a picky eater, who's lived in Miami for the better half of his life...and even he left pleased! Stephen was knowledgeable, as well as, personable. He kept the attention of our intimate group of 5 and introduced us to a number of food gems along South Beach! I'd definitely recommend Food Tours Of Miami to anyone visiting and even natives of the area..."
“We had a great time!”
5-7-12: "My friend and I celebrated the end of our graduate programs with a food tour of Miami. The tour guide, Stephen was very knowledgeable of the city and took us to some great locations. We loved all of the restaurants that we went to and the food in each place was delicious. I have lived in S. Florida for a number of years but had not visited some of the restaurants that Stephen took us. I will definitely try Food Tours again."
"It was the best..."
4-23-12: "It was the best item I've purchased from Living Social to date. Wonderful experience! Will definitely do it again on my next trip."
"A Feast On Foot": The Tastiest Of Tours
by: Miami Herald Sue Arrowsmith
1-26-12: "Another of those new companies is Food Tours of Miami, established by Miami native Stephen Rosenthal last year. His excursions include a South Beach food tour and Pub Crawl in Coral Gables...It’s not a job at all. It’s really a lot of fun,” said Rosenthal, a social worker who leads the tours in his spare time when he’s not working full-time at a skilled nursing facility."
“Excellent food, a bit of history, and lots of fun!”
12-18-11: "Food Tours of Miami really delivered! Steve took us to great restaurants that I would have missed on my own, arranged for a gourmet menu at each eatery, and made the tour a delightful gastronomic adventure. I will do it again!"
